Settings
The first that you should do is to set the Bannerize settings.
Enable impressions and clicks
You can enable the impressions and clicks counter for the banners.
As soon as you enable this option, Bannerize will start to count the impressions and clicks for each banner.
Anyway, remember that the impressions and clicks counter will be enabled only for the banners that have the Enable Stats
option enabled.
Clean up old stats
You can enable the auto clean up old stats for the banners. As soon as you enable this option, Bannerize will start to clean up the old stats for the banners. You may select two different options:
- Max Records
- Recent months
Both this options are used to set the limit for the stats records. They will start automatically by using the WordPress cron job. Of course, you may select the frequency of the cron job as well.
Max Records
You may set the maximum number of records to keep in the database. If the number of records exceeds the limit, Bannerize will start to clean up the old stats.
Recent months
You may set the number of months to keep the records in the database. If the number of months exceeds the limit, Bannerize will start to clean up the old stats.
Download stats
This feature is still in development.
Set the Geo Targeting API key
Bannerize provides the ability to target banners based on the user's location. We are using the WP Bones Geo Localizer package (opens in a new tab) to achieve this. Currently, this package supports the API service provides by IPStack (opens in a new tab)
Get your IPStack API key
To use the GEO targeting feature, you need to get your API key from IPStack (opens in a new tab) Once you have your API key, you can set it in the Bannerize settings page.
The IPStack API key is free for up to 100 requests per month.
